HOLY SUNDAY FEAST - SCORRANO

In Scorrano,the first week in July, the feast in honour of the patron Saint Sunday with the Night of Lights attracts tens of thousands of visitors who enchanted by the impressive illuminations.
All patron sain'ts feasts of Salento share a kind of fairytale atmospheres with extraordinary artistic decorations. In Scorrano however, the masters of papering rule the stage and the challenge is to outdo themselves every year with sumptuous and very long tunnels lit by thousands of coloured lights while reproducing monuments and saints with incredible scenery. The St. Sunday party with the Night of Lights is one of the most important and traditional summer events in Apulia.
